It was only a matter of time
Well, I finally joined. I don't spend a lot of time on the site, but when I have a question, this is the first place I look to find an answer. I finally had something worth while to contribute so I jumped at the chance. I see there are several fellow Minnesotan'* on this site so I may see you from time to time.
I have a black 93 SSE. I wasn't looking for such a highly equipped unit, but it was all I could find after I gave up my 88 SE. I really liked my 88. The only reason I got rid of it was b/c the CEL came on due to a crank pos sensor code. I replaced the sensor to no avail, and the local dealer said they'd have to tear down the motor to properly diag. No thanks, I know the motor isn't that bad after 130k. It turned out to be just a loose timing chain requiring replacement, but I was comitted to selling it at that point and had to let it go :( My father-in-law found me this 93 in NE 5 yrs ago. It was more than I wanted to spend, but have never regretted it. Now I wish it had the supercharger, but I'm thinking I'll hold off for a series II.
