Hey, thanks for the welcome!
Black Pearl, I actually read about the FE2-FE5 transformation, one of the main reasons I joined up here. Very nice detailed thread with pictures of everything. I was comparing part numbers to make sure I had all the right bits.
I hope it doesn't raise the car too much, I like how it sits now. If it does, I'll have to see just how much it bugs me, versus the improved ride. Might change them out for FE2 springs if it really looks weird. I can understand why, carrying the N** extra weight in the front, it probably needs a bit more installed height. Might settle a bit after awhile though, so you never know. I know some drop springs will settle even more after being installed for a few months. I actually have FE1 right now, which means it rides like a couch on wheels..lol. And it has no rear sway bar at all! But, it needed front struts anyway, so we will see what changes go on as all of it goes in.

Big turbos under bridges sound pretty cool too!
By the way, you guys have some cool smileys!
Yeah, right now I'm just taking care of maintenance items to be sure the LeSabre is 100%. Just had the trans flushed, did an oil change with Mobil 1, been replacing some interior panel bulbs and switches that were out (they put some real cheap bulbs in these things...). Just did new plugs and wires this afternoon. I swear the ones in there had been in there since 04! The fronts weren't too bad, but man, the rears kicked my butt! Now I remember why I hate doing plug changes on transverse V motors. The DOHC 4 in my Cruiser is cake compared to this, and you have to take the intake manifold off on that! At least its not quite as bad as the Astro I used to have, going in through the bottom!
Next, when weather is nice, fuel filter, and taking the throttle body, IAC and MAF out and cleaning them up good. But man, no more plug changes for awhile. My back will still hurt 2 days from now..lol. I'm gettin too old for that crap.

Hey Matt!
lol, Watertown is up up upstate! I'm sorta central NY. Watertown is waaay up there. Almost went to college in Potsdam many years ago. Hell if I didn't do my school visit and orientation in the middle of winter. Said heck with that. I froze my butt off there. I'm just far south enough to not get much lake effect, and our snow actually melts before June!
I say I'm from Utica area, but actually I'm further south. By about a half hour. Fellow NYers know the area I'm talking about. No mans land, where we don't even have cell service, and you know they never sent that "Can you hear me now" Verizon guy through here apparently. I just put Utica because its really the closest "big" city that non upstate NY people will recognize. Sometimes I say "Baseball Hall of Fame", and they get it.
