newbie from N.E. Ohio
Hello all! I recently purchased an 2000 SE with 32,000 mi. and was browsing the net when I found this cool site. Lots of good info to be found here, as a matter of fact I already gutted my airbox. So far I love my car, its as close to new as I could get, still has that new car smell and is as clean as a whistle, finally found a car that somebody took care of like I do. My wife thinks I am anal or something, wonder why... dont we all use toothbrushes when we wash our cars? So far no probs with windows, knock on wood. Did throw a code, which I believe was due to rust on the gas filler neck and the cap not sealing. Sanded it down and rust prepped and repainted, so far no code again. I do have the bubbling paint issue on the hood. A local dealer was supposed to repaint but due to some technicalities, out of warranty, and didnt purchase from them, they denied the fix this morning as I dropping the car off. This is my 5th car in the last 6 years, I grow bored with them quickly, this may be the exception, because it is such a nice car. Enough babbling from me...

Welcome to BC!
As you've apparently already seen, there'* good bit of info here, a group of dedicated folks trying to help others out, and a strange sort of family atmosphere too.
Kick off your shoes, grab some coffee (or Beer if it'* evening), and enjoy yourself!

welcome, where in N.E. ohio are you?
I'm in hudson right now.
Also, check out the national meets section, because in July there is going to be a national meet in columbus.

Thanks for the welcome. I am in Canfield, the Youngstown area. I will keep an eye on the Meet threads, would be cool to see some of your rides. Good news, I talked to the service rep at dealership that was supposed to de-bubblieze my hood this morning and there was a mix up and they are going to refinish the hood.

Good news on the hood re-paint!
They should take care of that as you are still under the standard warranty period and it is a known issue with the 2000 for some reason.
