Hi everyone,
I'm a new forum member (signed up a while back, but just getting around to browsing & posting). I've owned two Pontiacs over the years... a '95 Grand Am with 300k+ miles (which melted down a few years ago during a heatwave); and until this last September, a '02 Bonneville SLE with 46k miles (when it caught fire).
If you have Facebook, here are some photos of the rubble. If not, here are a few photos...
Now hoping to buy another Bonneville this weekend.

Thanks for the welcome. Hopefully an '05 GXP or an '03 SLE. Mods, just the usual that could be done with a Bonneville... tires, wheels, timing, filtration, exhaust, etc. Maybe lower it a little.

Luis...that'* one messed up Bonnie! There were some engine fire problems with some of the bonnies and it had to do with a leaking oil fill cap/spout and when the engine was warmed and hard breaking would seep oil from the spout onto the exhaust manifold. The best way to avoid engine compartment fires is to keep the engine bay clean, and repair any leaks asap.
IMO...Look for a good SSEi...much more you can do with it once the mod bugs bites.
