Well, I just picked up a clean 92 Bonneville SE, loaded on a even swap trade for a rusted out 89 Blazer. The truck didnt run and the Bonneville just had 800 dollars worth of work (which now it runs like a top). So I got a good deal on it.
Anyhow... Now I would like some advice on getting a newer one... perhaps 94-96... not really sure whats nice to get. I want one that has a nice interior (I do like the layout in the 92) but I only can spend around 4000 bucks.. maybe 5000 if I do some tweaking. Any ideas on what I should be looking for? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance and I love the information on this site!!

Well, the Series 1 was replaced by the Series 2 in 1995 (if you're not looking for a Supercharger, that is), the 4T60E tranny was replaced in 1997 with the 4T65E (not a good upgrade in my opinion), and there was a subtle body change in 1996, all models. Look around here, and you'll notice it.
It really depends on what you want and prefer. Options and interior layout are pretty much the same from 92-99.
Welcome!

Welcome!! Check out www.carsoup.com and www.keepitlocal.com I think both are in Michigan. I was playing last night on those sites, and found some great deals. All I searched on was 96-99 (my pref) and a lot came up in my area
