Took the Zilla out for one last spin before winter teardown, and needed a sip or two of gas. Drove 3 blocks to the nearest gas station, and asked for 10 bucks of 92. Pump jockey asked me immediately if I knew anything about pulleying these things. About that time I noticed a familiar ***-end sticking out from behind the office. 93 SSEi. Same one I looked at last year at the dealership.

I confirmed it was the one I'd seen there, and asked him if they'd fixed the leaky nosedrive or hood latch. They'd only fixed the latch.

That'* when he expressed concern about not knowing how to rebuild his SC, or where to go have it done.

And about the same time I realized he'd put 10 bucks of 87 octane in the Zilla. Yup. First time that'* EVER happened. We topped it off with 10 more of 92 for good measure (good cold weather so I should be ok until I boost it up again with illegal chemicals).

Long and short of it is he'* coming over after work in 30 minutes. He knows now there'* a SC rebuilder 3 blocks from where he works.

I'll get some pics up this afternoon, and I'm pretty sure he'll be joining.

Pile just left. On his way home, about a mile from here. Topped of his SC oil, diagnosed a harmonic balancer, and gave him a speaker grille. Got a bit of work to do on his car in the near future.

He may come by the next time EK98 is here for his foglight install.

I wiped the drool off the Zilla'* motor before he left. Pics coming soon. He'll probably join before I get them posted.

Wow, there are a lot of green SEEi car of that era. I see mostly white/maroon around where I live in Salem (not SEEi, SE).
