Hello Everyone,
I must admit that I have never been a GM fan, but I was recently given a 1996 Pontiac Bonneville SSE. I AM VERY IMPRESSED. I would never have considered owning one but driving the Bville made me park the 78 Mustang II(302). I love everything about the car. The styling, strong 3800, gas mileage have made me reconsider the way I look at GM. I also didnt know that there were so many people that love the Bonneville. I new about the Camero lovers but the passion for GM is strong! I have a few questions about my Bville but I will post them at another time.
Glad to meet everyone

Welcome to the site. The Bonneville is a great car, and very fast. My stock(ish) SSEi does 0-60 in 5 seconds. Should see the eyes when a 4 door grandpa car can stay door handle to door handle with a Corvette.

I know what you mean about it making you take a second look at GM. Mine made me do it too(I was predominately Mopar). I would almost say Bonneville owners are more in love with their cars than many Camaro owners. Glad you joined the forum, and I'm sure someone on here will be able to answer any questions you may have about the car. Plus, this place is great for just having fun and getting to know other people in the automotive hobby.
Oh, and pics of the car(or even both) are greatly encouraged.lol

Welcome to the forum! It takes a special group of people to love big, 4 door grampa cars. What makes it even more special is the appreciation you will get when you start to customize it, as the aftermarket for some of these cars are very limited, and some things are completely one-off. I hope your Bonne treats you well

Welcome to the forum. The gas mileage on the bonny is impressive, compared to its peers and even smaller GM vehicles. The ride and comfort is hard to beat. All in a sleeper of a vehicle called the Bonneville...
