NEW GUY HERE
hi! my name is Lonny and ive had my bonne since sept 03. ive put close to 20k on it since then with no problems. it now has just over 208k on it. all ive done to it is put some 95ish GP wheels on it that i bought from a friend for $40. it had the steelies and ugly caps on it before. i dont know alot about these engines except that they are great! im more of a SBC guy. so what kinda #* do these things put out? hp and tq? what can i do to make it faster without going broke workin on it? it has the n/a 3800 of course. can i use a */c off of a ssei? just change out the intake and all or what? anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and compliment the great site!

there are not alot of performance parts for the NA S1 but slap an intake and high flow cat,and muffler and bring it back to life, for course a full tune up is in order. no you cant SC the NA motor but who needs that crap any way. the S1 engine is good for 170 hp and 225 tq

Welcome to the Club. Look around in the performance and brainstorming thread. You'll find some goodies in there. You might want to check out techinfo too. Again, welcome.

If you can have a project car, you can try SCing it, a cheap source of parts is also beneficial. Otherwise find a SC engine and drop it in, we can help you with that if you're up to it
