thanks
Your Monte Carlo has me drooling. I looked at a Dale Earnhardt edition one while looking for a car but the one I looked at was too beat up with only 68,000 miles on it.
As for the mods, you can do a top swap and make the L36 supercharged. Of course that'* a lot of work involved, depends on how far your boyfriend wants to go but that would open it up for more mods later.

yeah i was thinking about that but yeah i'm not sure how far he wants to go or can go with it right now with him being so busy with college and work. BTW what kinda engine does he have now you think? Like I know it'* the 3.8L V6 but I know it isn't a L67 like mine.
Welcome to the Bonneville Forum Brittany!
The list of performance mods for a NA motor is short, but there are some great things that can be done to give it some pep in the step.
Exterior modding.....it'* all about vision. You can do lots or little and it'* all up to personal style.
Drag that boyfriend of yours in here.....will give him the mod bug!

yes that'* the supercharger. there are two type of M90 one is for the L67 which is the GEN3 M90 and then there is the one you have in the monte which is the GEN5 on the L32 motor which is more efficent than the GEN3

To do a top swap you need:
Supercharger
Lower Intake
Heads
Fuel Rail & injectors
PCM (or have yours programmed)
A couple of the pulleys on brackets or do a single belt system like crunkfrunk did
Harmonic balancer

The also need the ICM bracket, and the #9 pulley bracket. At that point, if the car does not have the 4t65e-hd transmission, upgrading that is a good idea. For that it'* easy, pull both wheels and axles, pull diff cover, remove diff, remove output shaft clip, pull output shaft out drivers side, slide in new output shaft, put new diff and diff cover on, and your set. Top swap will run around $500 in parts, transmission about $150.
