My baby NEEDs some luv'n
Hey Hey
I'm a newer member to the site, and haven't made any introductions so I thought now would be a good time. I bought my bonne a few months back, and this site has Really helped out in the upkeep/ideas for my car. There are alot of really helpful posts out there and it definately makes work on the car alot easier. When I bought the car it was in decent shape, but did have a few areas that needed working on. THankfully this guy was a layer so he'd pay what ever it cost to keep the car running, but never actually did any work on it himself. His motto was something like: no work, I'll pay, if it gets me to work everyday!! Or something along those lines. Lucky for me, he kept every single record of the cars maintenance, so it gave me a bit better insight on the car. unfortunately some components of the car were neglected. The spark plugs hadn't been change in 100,000k, 130k on the wires almost 5 years since last antifreeze change, the exhaust is still stock 245k, O2 sensor was possibly never changed.
Repairs that I've done on the car so far
-new upper strut mount
-lower ball joint
-gas tank
-plugs + wires
-air filter
-air intake (mod)
-cleaned up the body (it wasn't pretty)
and alot more interior work but would take a long time to list everything.
(antifreeze, O2 sensor, and AC removal this weekend)
And before I go, I've got a quick question on painting. The bumber on my car looks really bad(like someone shot it up with a paint ball gun) THe guy who sold me the car kindly gave me a "colour matched" so he said, can of paint. I plan on repainting the bumper, but if anyone could give me a link or tell me how I can determine if this is the right match or not, and any tips/tricks to painting plastic parts that would be most helpful.
Here are a few picks of the car

Hi there Richard - I'm a newbie as of today as well!
Our cars must have been "GTA" sisters in that my black 94 SE came our of Oakville a few weeks ago. Same rims, etc. Got a few less clicks on mine although you wouldn't think so given what I hope is a minor problem with its blue exhaust...
Anyhoo, regards from Canuck to another
