Love my 93 bonneville!
Hello Everyone
I just bought a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville and I absolutely LOVE it! I have driven Fords my whole Life but I have an new favorite car line now.
My Boneville has 170,000 miles on it and I really want it to last as long as possible.
My problem is I know very little to nothing about cars, but I have fallen so hard for this car I want to be sure I do everything right.
How can I be sure to get another 100,000 miles out of it? Are the high milage oil changes worth the money?
Thanks for reading and sorry if I aggravate anyone by knowing so little.

Check out the maintance area of the tech info section. That will be a good starting point. A lot of use run Mobile1 synt oil and really helps. Keep up with maint and the car will last you more then that. Some members have over 400k miles.

Hi and Welcome to the Bonneville Forum!!
Please add your year and trim of your vehicle to your signature line. That way when you start asking questions in other areas of the forum, we all have a better idea on how to assist you. Click on "Quick Links" above, go down to "User Control Panel" and then click on "Edit your Signature" It'* pretty straight forward from there.

Well, I have a 97 SE with a little over 195,000 miles. I dont ever pay the extra for the high mileage oil changes and have had ZERO problems. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome.
You sound like I did a few years ago except my first Bonnie was a 95.
You have certainly come to the right place to keep that thing going as long as possible.
