Well I'm not on parole... yet... actually too much of a family guy I'm pretty boring outside of my family and my cars. I have a 5 year old and 10 month old girls, and love every minute of time we can spend together.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcomes!!

Derek! I see you found us.

Glad to have you over and always a pleasure to work on a non-W body. Right until you reminded me about that bolt hitting the body where the Bonneville can pull right out.

Odd that you didn't lose any mileage with the 3.29'*. I did lose a little on the highway and noticed it cut a little off the car'* long legs. The other side of the coin was when not already running 70mph, the car does get up and go a lot better.

Put together some pics:

I've been taking an auto body class at the local voc-tech, and some of the pictures show new paint, some look like crap, and they change as the pictures get newer. I have been repainting one area at a time due to the short timeframe of the class - it'* very hard to paint an entire car in a 3 hour class! So far I've redone the pass. rear quarter panel, trunk lid and most recently did the roof in galaxy silver metallic.

Here'* one from before my most recent paint, just after adding the rims: (they are borbet Type E 17x8s)

Here'* some photoshop fun from before the new paint:

and here'* a couple from after the new paint:
