Hi
HI, my name is Joe and I recently purchased a 98 Bonneville SE. It has the 3800 series 2 motor. What should I look out for with this car?
Also, I'm looking to do some modifications. I'm a member over at ClubGP.com and I know about ZZperformance and INTENSE and was looking at several modifications. I was Thinking along the lines of a CAI, Throttle Body Coolant Plug, 180* T-Stat, High Velocity Intake insert and the new INTENSE 1.6 Ratio Roller Rockers. However, I was told the performance increases would not fully effect the car without a Modified PCM. Does Anyone know which companys produce one for the bonnevilles? Also, what type of exaust modifications can i do? Will the 3" Random Technology Downpipe fit the car?
Thanks in Advance,
Joe

Welcome to BC. The biggest mechanical problem you'll see with that engine will be the upper intake failure. Check the 92-99 section for the Sticky on that.
You want some performance parts? Best bet is to check out Domestic Performance and Pure Performance Fever. Good luck.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
I'd like to research the PCM at Domestic Performance, can some one tell me about it and/or give me the webpage?
Thanks!
