Default Hello from Corpus Christi

What'* up fellas? Joe here from the Texas Coastal Bend just trying to get around a GM crowd a little more. I spent 20+ years working for General Motors in various dealerships before landing a job as a technician at a local refinery in their fleet maintenace program. I ended up getting promoted to supervisor within 6 months. Although I enjoy the job of a supervisor, I do miss getting my hands dirty and doing what I enjoyed doing for so long. I've got a fleet of............(don't shoot) Ford trucks but if I had it my way they'd all be Chevy'*. Ford just does stuff that'* weird sometimes.
Other than my job I enjoy tinkering with other folks trucks and cars as well as my own '94 Silverado. I'm getting ready to put a 383 TBI engine in place of the 350 that'* been in there for almost 390,000 miles so I may post some photos of that before, during and after the project is completed. I also have been pretty active in scale modeling in the last 5 years after recovering from alcoholism. Thank God that chapter of my life is behind me. I keep my mind busy with scale projects in the 1/48 scale aircraft and 1/25 scale automotive ranges. It'* a hobby that I left behind since childhood but now enjoy and have entered them in shows to go on to win in "Best of" Categories. Might post some photos in the General section later. Dunno yet.
I've been married to my beautiful wife , Dianna , for 21 years and we have a 13 year old son named Joseph. He'* just now starting to get into performance cars and asks me questions constantly....................I pray to God that he never goes into the auto repair business. lol
Well , I guess that sums up enough about me for the time being. I'm looking forward to getting to know the crowd around here, help out where I can and to get help as well. See you guys around here on the forum, Joe

Welcome to the forum Joe. Pull up a chair, we have fresh brew in the kegerator and plenty to read here. We could always use the extra help here.

Thanks for the reply Mike. Looks like I'm back in business around here now. Just had a crazy last few years but will try to be more active on here.
