Greetings & Salutations! [and some questions]

That sounds great for awhile. Then it gets annoying. No performance loss for a resonator if you pick the right diameter. Mine is 3", so no backpressure problems.
Magnaflow makes a high-flow cat/resonator combination unit that I would have purchased if I hadn't already replaced my cat.
Magnaflow, magnaflow, magnaflow. That'* what my exhaust is now. It still roars at WOT, but not raspy, and not obvious at 1/4 throttle. I want a sleeper, but when the sleeper awakes, you know it.

That '* exactly what I'm looking for.....Do you happen to remember which Magnaflow high-flow cat/resonator, muffler combo would be ideal...I haven't even picked the car up yet [it'* in CT, and I drive it back X-mas] but I'm psyched to work on it! ...

Prefer the high flow cat/resonator combo.
OR
Magnaflow hi-flow cat (2.5" inlet and outlet). 24" Magnaflow resonator. Magnaflow F-body (camaro/firebird) crossflow muffler (on inlet and outlet on one end, outlet on the other end).

And that cat/resonator, cross-flow muffler set-up or the cat, seperate resonator, cross-flow muffler set-up will bolt right up with our existing exaust piping?

Kewl...I'll be sure to measure before I order anything....But what accounts for the two different possible sizes? :? ...I would think that if it'* a Bonneville SE you get a certain size and that'* that.....Is one diameter preferred over the other [back pressure, etc.]?

this really gets confusing
Some SE'* have 2.25 some have 2.5 there is no rhyme or reason what cars have the 2.25 and the 2.5 single outlet muffler
SLE has 2.5 (93 has the N10 high flow dual outlet) all others have single outlet
SSE has 2.5 dual outlet
SSEi 2.5 dual outlet

Thanx for all your input!.....Now I know this is off on a tangent, but if I wanted to remove the air cleaner to get at the TB to clean it [not necessarily remove the TB] is there any preferred brand of spray/technique I should use?...

Welcome to the club. You'll be hard pressed to find a nicer or more outgoing group of people online than those found in the ranks of BC.com!
Us Rochester folks have to get together somtime. I'm over here in Byron just west of Rochester!
When\if you clean your TB, just make sure you buy the Throttle Body cleaner and not Carburator cleaner as they are a bit different (carb cleaner could have adverse effect on your O2 sensor(*))...
