okay...the verdict is:
FE1...soft ride
F17...granny gears
1SE...what "flavor" is that?
I talked to the last owner, who had it since '97 when it has 103K, and they stated that they did not replace the transmission. The dealership I bought it from said the only thing they did was replace a tranny mount.
Thats an idea, but I was thinking of some 5 spoke 00-05 impala rims, but not sure how that would look. Now I'm thinking about the bonnie rims.
I think it'* interesting how all these Bonneville owners say they like the Lesabre interiors, whereas one of the most popular mods on a b-body (caprice, impala ss, etc.) is to replace the stock seats which are all but identical to the lesabre seats, with bonneville seats! anyway, have a good week everyone![/code]

You wouldn't happen to know if this is the original trans, would ya?
for your first mod i would def recommend getting some nice gold crosslace stock bonneville rims to go with that beatiful red tone.

Very nice.. And I have seen a lot of the 2.84 transmissions go a long ways on the 4T60-E.... With the taller gears maybe the transmission gets less abuse.. I know I am abusive to mine...
My friend has a Park Ave with Chrome Caddy Rims, and it looks good... 177k on the all original engine and trans too... I know he'll have it way past 200k
