Greetings everyone
I have a 1979 Bonneville with the 350 X engine, which is the 1977 Buick 350 (for those who didn't know). I bought my B'ville about 6 months ago from a friend of my stepdad for $300. Why so cheap you ask? Well, it'* not nick-named the " Green Ugly " or " The Beast " for nothing. The only place on this car that doesn't have a dent is the roof ! The guy I bought it from got re-ended once and couldn't find the parts he needed to fix it. So in true "Redneck" fashion, he made what he needed, both tail lights and the rear bumper. He took some trailer lights and inserted them into what was left of the old ones. The bumper on the other hand was trickier. He took a 197? ford truck bumper, cut the end off, then welded a 1' wide piece of diamond plate steel to it for the top, and finished it off by welding his monstrous creation to frame of the car. I will take a pic and post it here tommorrow so everyone can get a good laugh. All I can say about it is, don't follow too close, I might decide it'* time for a brake check![/i]

Restore
I would like too restore it, but I'm not sure. There is so much body damage and electrical problems, it will probably cost me at least $10k to just to get most of it fixed. No wipers, heat, A/C, power antennea is broke so bad I'll have to cut the fender to get it out to name a few. Do you know of any places to order parts? Some where that specializes in older cars?

I want pics! This car sounds too cool! Get the electrical and the engine in good shape, but leave the body alone. Then go out and race it. See how much money you can make, or people you can **** off when you blow 'em out of the water!
