Understood. The reason I made the suggestions I did is because the 03' is known to run lean and have KR out of the factory. I've got one so I do know from personal experience. The mods I suggested would allow you to do what you are looking to do, and in my opinion should be done somewhat in that order.
Obviously you are free to completely disregard any advice I give you. Just trying to pass some of my experience in this platform on and help you on your way.

Tom, I hope your not taking me saying anything as disregarding what your saying or your credibility, I really appreciate the advice. It'* funny dealing with The audi people, they turn their noses up at "newbies" and I have had a great reception here, I think thats fantastic. Again, thanks for the advice and I am not trying to upset anyone or anything like that. Thanks again

You will find that we have a very understanding and humorous staff here. It is easy to misunderstand someones intended meaning on the interwebz, so I always try to clarify! Glad to see your one of us.

PLOG is a power log. http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=208&catid=110
If you only plan on doing mild modifications, you can replace the front manifold with a power log instead of doing full blown headers, this will help prevent predetonation. Smaller pulley on the SC means more air in, which also means more air out. It is much easier and cheaper than doing headers (although there are some fairly cheap headers that some members have known to work pretty well).
