As a former Buick (also a 3800 v6) owner, I can offer a few...DO NOT SCOFF AT A BIG FAMILY CAR WITH A 3800!!! They have MASSIVE amounts of pickup, and will do whatever you ask of them and rarely, if ever, complain about it.

I own a 1983 Bonneville, different engine, but she does everything I ask of her. I've had her for over a year, she ALWAYS starts and ALWAYS stays running. She'* one of the two most reliable vehicles I've ever driven, the other being a tractor

Don't knock it till you try it And she'* welcome to contact me via email, messenger, or PM, just PM me and I'll give you the addys

HI Folks, thanks for the replies. I picked up the car today in Clearwater fla and it is a beauty. It looks just like mremer'* car of the month with a sunroof. It has a two tone interior black/grey leather with a ton of options. My wife and I went to dinner with some friends in it and they couldn't say enough about it which inspired my wife quite a bit. I think she is won over already. I am sure it will be with us for a long long time. Now its time to learn about all the gadgets. Regards to all.

Welcome to Bonneville Club. You may want to routinely check interior (front & rear floor areas for wet carpet) for water after rain. Also check the trunk general area, specifically the spare tire well for any water. Good Luck with the new Bonneville, nice choice.
