Welcome, eh! I'm only 30 mins or so from the bridges...there'* a few others locally too...and many near the Toronto area. Next time you are passing by, if you have time to stop, let us know and we'll try to gather for a minimeet!

I seem to be going through Buffalo a lot. Have family just south of Erie PA.
Would love to have a little get together and show off my "bad ride"!

Welcome! Good to see yet another person who enjoys the land-yachting lifestyle
Front brake shimmy is warped rotors, H- and C- bodies are notorious for this. GM really didn't put big enough brakes on these cars.. Make an investment in a good set of slotted rotors.
While you're plugging around in the wheel-well, make sure to check your sway-bar end-links.

So, make sure the rear wheel cylinders are working, no air in the rear lines, make sure the shoes are in good shape, and the drums are good too. Make sure the automatic adjuster is lubed properly, and working. Adjust the rears, so when you spin the tire, it will stop before making 1 full revolution. Thats how the braking system works in pretty much all cars. Worn shoes, poor qulaity linings, or worn front rotors will also cause problems. My point, don't blame the manufacturers, its how they are maintained that matters.
Oh, BTW, Welcome!!
