Changing the fuel pump on my 99 Suburban, the nipple would not release from the quick connect fitting (QD)
After breaking the fitting off the pump and fiddling for about 2 hours the nipple came free, but took the internal of the QD out and scattered them.
How can I repair the fuel line so it connects to the fuel pump? Can the QD be repaired?
Thanks in advance for your time and sharing your knowledge

I'm not sure I follow what'* damaged and what isn't.
Did you use a fuel-line disconnect tool for any of this?

That should have a circular spring and seal inside.
