I’ve been told the part can’t be reused?

I've heard of others reusing them without issue (unless the donated unit was bad).

Has anybody had luck finding a replacement? I have the same issue with the same truck and not even dealer can get the part. No luck on a aftermarket unit as well. I've thought about going through a parts truck but the new sensors come with the pin to keep the shaft in position and figured any used part would be out of alignment after being taken off.
