Default Choosing between Traverse / Acadia / Enclave / Outlook

So I'm in the market for a used crossover 3rd-row-seat SUV'* on the market now... primarily interested in sister models Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave, and might as well throw in Saturn Outlook. I heard that upgrades were done for 2012 models that may make them more desirable (?), but some quick image searching shows body style changes were in 2013. Either way, something 3-5 years old with mileage under 60k is what I'm looking for.

My "options" wish list would probably fall in this order:

- All Wheel Drive (the main one)
- Auto Climate Control
- TV/DVD screens
- Sunroof

None of those options are really dealbreakers, except for perhaps AWD. I'm fine with any of the models since they are so similar, in just about any color. Price, mileage, and condition will be much bigger factors for me than anything else.

Also somewhere on my list are the new styles of Ford Explorer and/or Dodge Durango, so feel free to comment on those (if you have direct experience) although I realize this is not a Ford/Dodge forum. My local used market on those two seems to have them priced much higher too.

Any comments or advice are appreciated!

If your heart is set on this vehicle, get an extended/used car warranty.....these vehicles are costly to repair....

Check the original coverage on the model......they are different, i.e., Buick is longer than Chevy....

Can you be a little more specific on saying "these vehicles are costly to repair..."

I would think that probably applies to any newer-model vehicles these days. There are hundreds of thousands of them on the road, so I'd think parts are quite available and mechanics are used to working on them. I've heard that early models (2007-2008?) had tranny or timing belt issues, but am assuming/hoping that might be cleared up in later models.

Stay away from the used GM. Unless you buy a crossover style vehicle new from GM they will not help you whatsoever if something goes wrong. Make sure to cover yourself with a warranty. Ford edge is a nice vehicle, I'm not a Ford fan but they are pretty nice. Fact of the matter is, the early years of the crossovers from gm were garbage. They had problems that were extremely expensive to fix and they got burned on some. But people who bought them used second hand, got burned the worst. Flawed designs gm wouldn't stand behind. I would think they've straightened it out by now. Just don't go early years, trust me...personally I'd just stay away from gm anymore.
