'95 Yukon SLE Sputtering and Oil Leak
I have a '95 GMC Yukon SLE 2d that I inherited from my dad when he passed away. It sat for about 8years. Needless to say, it needed lots of work. Its has a new radiator, compressor, accumulator, exhaust, brakes, rotors, calipers, plugs and wires, ignition coil, distributor cap and rotor, oil pan gasket, serpentine belt, master cylinder, and fuel filter. Im sure I am missing something! After all this, it is still sputtering at a slow roll or in reverse. Oil pressure and voltage drops when the sputtering happens. It acts like it wants to die. Alternator has been checked, its fine and battery is good. Could the issue be fuel injectors or even something as simple as a PCV valve? Pretty much everything is new. I dont know what to do next. It does have a pretty good oil leak, but like i said the oil pan gasket is new. The top of the motor is dry and we cant pin point the leak. The sputtering and oil leak are driving me crazy!!! Im a chic that is car savy, but I dont know it all! I need help! This truck is more than just a truck. Its a gift from my dad. He knew I wanted it from the time he brought it home brand new! A lot of money has been put into it to get it road worthy and safe. Im hoping these two issues are an easy fix and someone can help me out!!

Not that i know of! I took it to a shop and they gave me a laundry list of things it needed. We did it all at home rather than pay for all the labor. They said to start with the plugsand wires, ignition coil, distributer cap and rotor. They didnt dig any deeper than that.

How about checking fuel pressure?

not so easy on a tbi engine, you have to get a adapter kit, and its not so critical as on 96+
i would look for vacuum leaks, run the engine and spray around the intake areas with carb cleaner and listen for the engine to change pitch, if it does theres your leak. the egr on those is a common source of vacuum problems on those.
the leak in the front back what?

It does idle properly!! Runs great other than the sputter and oil leak.
I will check for vacuum leaks!
The oil leak is in the front. It seems to be dripping down off the differential.
