Doesn't hurt to give it a try...I found a link for your 6.2 sierra if you want to try it out, up to you.
Glad this worked for you on a Toyota and a Mustang. I would sure not like to have any members of this forum involved in rlcrockett'* warranty being voided by using a non-manufacturer-recommended lubricant with non-manufacturer-recommended maintenance procedures and intervals, especially not based on anecdotal testimony based on unrelated vehicles. To that end . . .

. . . I disabled the hyperlink in your post.

Well the dealer came back and said that GM is not going to do anything. So he sent me all of the paperwork and I am going to make a run at it myself. Any recommendations on who to contact at GM or best way to proceed?

As stated at the top, I was using almost 1 quart every 1,000 miles. But not exactly 1 quart, so they wouldn't consider it. Now the range is 1 quart in 2,000 miles, which I easily meet.

So you can take it back to them and get something done?

. . . or are you saying that now the threshold on newer trucks is a quart in 2,000 miles?
