You guys are gonna love this one... tailgaters...
I was on my way to work this morning in the Xterra..
Heading down the 170 freeway this morning and hit a little traffic by the 101/134/170 interchange. I slowed down and got ready to move over into the car pool lane. About the time I nailed the gas, my cd'* were jerked out of their holding spot in the center of the dash bin... and I moved over into the carpool lane. I thought I felt a little jolt but wasnt sure, figured it was just the massive 200lbs of torque rocketing me out of the hole... hahah
Anyway.. just as I get into the carpool lane and start accelerating.. I looked in the side mirror and this civic is right on my ***, and blowing his horn like a mother ******.. I mean there was finger jestures and everything coming from his window.
Me, being pretty close to native california as you get these days.. Responded iwth a few finger gestures of my own.
This went on for some time/distance... I exited Cahuenga (spelling) blvd and made a turn tward Sunset blvd.... and this guy is still riding my ***...
At this point I'm pretty pissed off... so i motioned for this guy to pull over and he pulled over as I pulled over...
I lept out of the car with my roommate exiting the other side to back me up... I started yelling at this guy "what the **** is your problem *******?" and this guy looks like he'* about to panic, seeing two of us coming at him....
As I get to the back of my X, I notice that it'* a civic with a fancy *** bodykit, big *** rims, lowered etc..... what was even funnier was that... he was so low that the front end of his car was under mine enough for my trailor hitch ball to have impacted the front of his car and get stuck... dragging him down the freeway....
I apologized for being stock height and helped him pry his car loose with the help of a crowbar.... his jdm front end was usdm'd all to hell and the carbon fiber hood had more splinters than the IRA.. but he was in one piece...

Posts like a Ricer Type-R
I had something like that happen awhile back. Driving my z71 in California. Remember I'm a CA native. People see the Oregon plates and just assume you're going slow even if you're not. Had a civic tailgating me so close I couldn't see his headlights behind me with the tailgate OFF! Had the net on.
Did this for miles on the 101 in Sonoma County. Finally got pissed and slammed the brakes. Punched a neat little hole in the front of his bumper cover with my receiver and ball. Not a damn thing he could do, either, it would have been his fault if he reported it. He never stopped.
That guy was PISSED!

I too love Brake Checks!!!
I bet that ricer has never seen his car move that fast before! And not to mention the power the Bonnie has to be able to pull one down the freeway with little effort.
