Woodward Ave, the unofficial proving grounds of the 50'*, 60'*, and 70'*. The big three (four) would sponsor kids to run their lattest cars against each other. It was the largest unofficial sanctioned event the automakers were involved in. GTO Judges against Datonas and Superbirds, Mustangs against Camaro'*. Until they put an end to corporate sponsoring of racing. Even then, they snuck a few in.
