I trying to put together the list of parts i need but GMPartsDirect.com isnt very descriptive. When i add the bushings into my "cart" it doesnt say how many is included. Im confused.
32mm solid sway bar
2 end links, non HD susp?
2 bushings?
1 bracket?

I have found the bushings on AdvanceAuto.com (in urethane and cheap), but they don't have the same ones in the stores. It'* online only for that.
On the endlinks it'* Energy suspension uh... either 9.8105 or 9.8120 whichever one is a link kit with spacers, bolts etc. The other one is the rear if you buy bolts.

Your mileage may vary, but here are the parts I needed. Lowe'* and Home Depot don't have a great selection of bolts, but Tractor Supply does. Whatever you get, try to match what you currently have. (Your endlinks won't care about the thickness of your sway bar.) You can raise or lower the sway bar with different-sized spacers to change how your ride handles.
As far as bushings go, ask behind the counter at your local auto parts store for the cheap OEM parts, or pick up an off-the-shelf kit from Energy Suspension for a smoother, sportier ride.
Fronts
- Two 5"-7" bolts, ⅜" diameter, ≥Grade 5 (Grade 8 is a stronger bolt)
- Two ⅜" nylon locking nuts
- Two 1⅝" spacers of some kind (I used aluminum, GM used plastic)
- One Energy Suspension 9.8105R (red bushings) or 9.8105G (black bushings) kit, or similar
Rears (if you have a rear sway bar)
- Two 3½" bolts, ⅜" diameter, ≥Grade 5
- Two ⅜" nylon locking nuts
- One Energy Suspension 9.8105R/G kit (you'll have two leftover bushings and washers), or similar
Changing them out is a complicated process. Nah, I'm just kidding. Dan has an excellent writeup on the subject. You may have to wrestle the old bolts off, especially if they're pushing 20 years old. But you can keep yourself busy for an afternoon; less if you're good with a ratchet set.
