That is one sweet sleaper.....Very nice...
A little off topic, but i thought all SLE & SSEi'* came with heated seats?
In the bigger pic of his interior i don't see any heater switches on the console.
Now back on topic....

Yep this is my Bonnie
Hi, everyone. Sorry it has taken so long to reply to this post. First of all I would like to thank John for his thread on my car. Thanks man. Second, yes this is a custom job. SLE did not come standard with a */C. This is a complete swap with L67 and a 4t65-E tranny. I'm not sure what the gear ratio really is to tell the truth. If someone can tell me how to do that I would love to know. I did the job by myself in the driveway. When I say by myself, I mean by myself too. I wish I would have found the PDX crew before hand but now I have a lot of know how, so if anyone else has the cajones to attempt it let me know and I can give a few pointers. Anyway, I grew up around cars my whole life. My dad was an autobody/mechanic guy and I picked up a few things along the way. I was just crazy enough to attempt this on my own becuase I couldn't find a place that would even touch it with a ten foot pole. Pontiac about crapped themselves when I told them what I was trying to do. Had to change all of the mounts and what not and I still need to cut off the extra top motor mount, but it fell right in without much event. Looks like it should belong there. I couldn't be happier. I did run into a little wiring issue on the tranny with the gear selector switch being internal on a Bonnie and external on Grand Prix and Regals. That was about the biggest pain in the rear since I had to re-pull all of the motor mounts again and pull the drive axel to get it up high enough to pull of the side cover plate. Now that sucked most of the time out of the job. I placed an Intense Racing PCM in her and after that she purred like a kitten. I couldn't be happier, except for the horrific in town gas mileage and that I have to by the 92 octane. But it was totally worth it!!!
Car is a 2000, leather seats, no they are not heated sorry to say. I put the original stereo back in it. Didn't much car for the 7" in dash screen. It was nice but didn't get to the back seats view. The PDXCGP guys put a 3.4" pulley on her in March. Love it! You can see my pictures here http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/shelt5...13escd&.src=ph
