Bought my 93 because it was in my price range, pulled like it'* life depended on it, and looked sooooo good, even just sitting there. It was actually the exact opposite of what I was looking for. I was in the market for a small two door, 4-cylinder with a 5 speed, but when I saw the bonne (she was even in the BACK lot), I knew she was mine. Less than a week later it was in my driveway.

even though i had first owned a V8 1980 el camino, i still drove my dad'* 93 bonneville cuz i liked the sports/luxury combo...he liked the classic el camino....so we swapped for a while....then he got a new truck and i had the option of getting his bonneville....which i was going to get anyway.....until not even a week later when i saw a 92 ssei for $1000 + tax.....less miles than my dad'* and it only really needed some new tires & minor cosmetic things....that Bonneville sits in my yard now....
....and so does my dad'*...but wth a" For Sale by Owner" sign on it
but yeah, i like all the options, the even sportier look for the SSEi, and who can deny the inevitable addiction to the supercharger??...i love making my boost gauge work...

the reason i got a bonneville was the first one was given to me as a gift by a family member/ mom liked it so i found her SSE and she loves it. I then wanted an SSE and found my 94 which i had to have. The only reason i got the GTP was because the price was right, it was supercharged, and in mint condition with only 72,500 when purchased!! I have found that i really LOVE the GTP but i will always be IN LOVE with the Bonne!!

My Grandpa was moving and there was one sitting in his backyard. It was about to be sent to the wrecker, but I decided to resurrect it. Best decision I've ever made.

Well hey, I figure since I lurk on your forums and since I had a hand in convincing the g/f to buy her Bonne, why not?
I bought an Autotrader and had gone through the pages marking cars she could afford. We didn't find anything, until one night, she decided to take a look at it. She spotted the Bonne, for something like $3800 with about 140k miles on it ('98 ). We went to take a look at it and really liked it. She wasn't too sure, so I convinced her it was a solid car (it is) and that it'* very sexy looking (she hates white), I really liked it, because I love fast four-door cars (owned a '93 Taurus SHO at the time). So there...

My mom bought a new car, and it was either get $250 for the Bonneville, or give her to me. She knew I loved the car, so she just gave it to me. I most certainly wouldn't love Bonnevilles if it weren't for her. She'* been in the family since '91, so I was only 1 year old when we got her. Everytime I see her [even with the cover on], I run my hands down the car. That car just makes me infinitely happy.
