Mine is on my belt. I had a clip on my dash kinda like Jasons, but I took it off to move it. Before I put it back on, I Armor-Alled the dash and it don't stick no more. So, it lives on my belt now.

Nobody calls me anyways.....

mine has a nice sized clip.. therefore it gets clipped TO the sunvisor... facing down on me so i can hear it over the stereo or SEE the colors cycling on the display....(at night) or tucked under my leg so i can feel it vibrate....

Response from a guy at work: I suppose that'* a good place to put your cell phone so that it doesn't get stolen. Every man with in 50 yards will be staring there anyway. It'* like her own network of surveillance cameras.

That'* easy: a Motorola unit on a pedestal mount; remote microphone installed on the header molding above the windshield; hidden external speaker mounted on the floor forward of/hidden by the center console; external antenna mounted on the rear window; 6 watts of analog transmit power so everyone thinks I'm on a land line... oops, I forgot, I bought this phone in 1993...

Seriously, my wife has the latest-and-greatest digital cellphone with camera, etc., but I had this 1993-vintage unit swapped over to the SSEi when I bought the car in 1996, and it'* been there ever since. I still get service from Verizon Wireless for it, and pay only for airtime, nothing else, so I figure I'll just keep on using it until Verizon Wireless finally yanks their analog service. It'* great: I can speed-dial with a couple of button presses, it'* hands-free speaker mode unless I feel like actually picking up the handset, and with a lot of places now thinking about (or already passing) laws against using a cellphone while driving _unless_ you're using hands-free mode, this is one old phone whose time had come, then gone, then come again.

as for when I had the bonnie the cell usually ended up in the back seat or floor...
it originally was put in the upper overhead console (which is not such a good place after all)....when i gunned it...it always ended up back there
