I found some Krylon Fusion at the local Michaels Arts & Crafts www.michaels.com , cost $6.49 (cdn) for a can. I also checked the local Canadian Tire, they carry it, but were out of stock on the gloss white, so I bought it from Michaels

Evidently that was not done here..
Anyway I used a brass bristle brush to take off all the loose paint, masked off the surrounding area and sprayed on a few coats of the Krylon Fusion. It'* been a few weeks now, and so far it'* holding up perfectly. I'll post pics of the finished job next chance I get. The Krylon Fusion worked great.

there'* kind of a vertical ridge in the cladding where it wraps around and makes the transition from the wheel well to the rear fender, so I masked it off right along the ridge, then as I sprayed the paint I tried to "feather" it as I got close to the ridge. I'm happy with the result, even when I look at it and I know it'* been painted, so I know to look for a mis-match in the paint, I can't tell where the new paint ends and the old paint starts. And the Krylon Gloss White is a pretty close match to the Pontiac White (not sure, is it called Brite White, or something like that?)
