got the car november 2005 - 271,000km
replaced:
rear struts
2 alternators
timing chain and gears
disconnected alarm system due to it shorting out
front strut (passenger side)
taillites ( do SSE'* come from the factory with cracked tailites???
)
to do list:
fix worn drivers seat
reattach headliner
fix cruise control
as as of tomorrow going to the garage to find out why monday night my climate control has had a nervous breakdown and is alternating between trying to freeze me out of the car and melt me to the seat! ( if you see northern lights in canada tomorrow night that may just be me when i get the bill!
)
current mileage - 307,000km
driving style - normal with moments of sheer terror when i realize how late i am for something. ( chronic problem-mom used to say when i was a kid i'd be three days late for my own funeral- so far i don't see a problem with that!
