And you didn't know about the resume feature? If you are cruising along and lightly tap the brakes, not enough to slow down, but enough to release the cruise and TCC, then once its safe you can click over to resume and bam you are at the same speed you were at when you set the cruise.. I have worn the white lettering off of my stalks...LMAO
Once you have set your speed, every click of the button will drop 1mph, and every click of the switch will add 1mph... Neat how they managed to squeeze all that into one single multifunction lever... LMAO

That is remarkable! I definitely have to try that out.
But don't you agree that a rear wiper would have been real nice, I realize it might have made the rear look ugly but maybe they could conceal the whole thing, not necessary the whole thing but most of it. That would help everyone who lives in a wet/snowy area. I know I would have appericated it.

I'll bet they could have done that... And it may have come in handy too... But I think the design of the rear of the 92-99 Bonnie would have had far more leak issues with the wiper.. Us bonnie owners know there was more than enough room back there for it tho... LOL
And on the cruise... If you ever find a dry road, no ice or anything... Totally dry...
After you set the cruise, if you hold the button the car will continue to slow instead of the 1 mph increments... The same goes for the Accell... If you hold it the car will continue to pick up speed... I have even gotten mine to hit 2nd gear uphill without touching the gas...lol
I forget what the cutoof speed is for curise tho, or limit speed... I think cruise can be used as early as 35 and go through 80? I may have to look that one up...lol

Dude! The Bonneville is SO COOL. When I read that, I got cool images of it in my head, I geniunely think the Bonneville (both NA and SC) reallly was the perfect car. Perfect balance of power, handling, mpg, etc...
Actually a few months ago, I discovered the speeding up with a switch but I did not even know you could slow down with a button.
Cool, so cool

Where did you set CC at 95? I wanna go there and speed.
That'* funny, your ex g/f freaking out, you should have said, "Oh MY GOD, THE CAR WON"T STOP ACCELERATING, WE'RE GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!!"
Now that would be a gut-buster.

Thats funny.... Hmm maybe the bonneville just have to be above 35 mph or so to set the cruise... And no top speed...Hmmmm
I like toying with the cruise when I'm on the road... Love having it do a 4th to 2nd downshift going uphill via the cruise...

I think every car owner'* manual says Cruise Control only works above 35 mph, but every car I've tried has always worked much lower, easily works at 25 on my Bonneville. I don't know if there really is a lower limit or if it'* just a myth. Also, you guys just taught me a lot about how my CC works. I could never figure out why the car would slow down when I held in the CC button, I thought that was supposed to make it go faster, and I always thought maybe mine was screwed up. Who knew? That'* pretty cool!
And I don't think there is an upper limit for CC on our cars. If it works at 95, aren't our cars speed limited around 105 anyway?
