There was a possiblilty of heated mirrors that were not tinted. The 95 had one when I picked it up. (that got fixed quick)

I don't even mind not having some stuff that Custom 88 mentioned.

because sometimes you want to cancel cruise control without slowing down. Ya know, just pull forward on the cruise switch instead of having to turn it OFF or hit the brakes to turn it off. Just tap a switch and it turns cancels.. When you cancel it keeps all the speed settings. When you turn it off, you have to turn it back on, then set your speed again. It'* easier just to cancel for however long you need to, then hit resume again. The whole thing is just so much simpler and better to use once you have actually used it. Before, I thought the cruise control on the multifunction stalk was just swell too.

Here'* another thing I thought of. the Bonneville doesn't have sunvisor extenders!! This one really bothered me on my 300 mile drive yesterday because the sun was to my direct left side and the sunvisor stopped above an inch from my face so the sun was STILL shinining directly in my eyes even with the visor to my left. Mine have a little plastic insert you can slide out to extend the visor if need be.. I was expecting it to be there, and obviously it wasn't.

this thread is REALLY interesting.....some people that have different trim levels dont realize that cars came equipped or not equipped with certain options, and there are differences between years too

, I forgot about those damn sunvisors. You're right, I agree with you Custom88, I have sun in my eyes and I was searching for extenders too. A couple of plastic inserts wouldn't have hurt anyone.

Plus, you know you could just tap the brakes without slowing down to disable the CC. I've done it many times. Just my .02

Yeah, but with a cacel on the cruise control comes "resume" so you just hit that and you're right back at your cruising speed. Works nicely in my Dad'* `03 Town Car. -And that is the ONLY nice thing I have to say about that car. Ugh, it drives like a giant boat. I'll take my Bonnie any day, thanks!

In my 99 if I tap the brake to kick off the cruise all I have to do is push the cruise button again and it'll resume cruising at the speed it was before I kicked it off. Seems just as good as a cancel button to me.

I think everyone is forgetting one important fact, and that is a fact of safety. Whenever you see brake lights ahead of you, what is your first reaction? Hit your brakes, right? of course it is! If you have to tap your brakes to turn off the cruise control, everyone behind you is going to go for their brakes too. It is an uneeded inconvenience to other drivers around you, and causes a chain-reaction of un-needed braking.

I know this is getting a bit off topic, but if you turn off your cuise conroll you're obviously slowing down (unless you did it by hitting the gas) so if you turn it off without tapping the brakes then the car behind doesn't have the visual warning that you're slowing down, it could be just as inconvenient as un-needed braking.

I for one don't use my cruise control when in close quarters with other cars where tapping or not tapping my brakewould be an "inconvenience"

Jack, I did not know that you could hit cruise again and resume the speed it was at originally. Thank you Jack for telling me something new about my car (we have the same car, just different color (mine is better looking ))

I forgot another thing. I just realized it today. Today it was raining and I couldn't see out the back, it was blurry, I wish Pontiac would have installed a rear wiper. The window is angled just right to hold water and not run off immediately. Have anyone experienced this?
