It would go down some in the US if refineries were allowed to be built, but no one will let that happen. Go legal system.

Paying about 2.37 for premium out here in Colorado.. which has lead to some experimenting..
Following the advice given here:

I've seen about a 23% increase in my local around town mileage, and it lets me get by with the 87% octane in my '93 SSE

Ahh the price we all pay for the pleasures of driving freedom.
Jim calls his 4.0 L V8 big.
He should try fueling a carburated 6.6 L V8.........I only get 7 mpg with it the way I drive. Soon to be two of them. .....on top of the Bonne and another 4.0 L Inline 6.
Shawn pays half of what he makes towards fuel for his habit. That is a lot.
It'* all relative.
What would we spend our $$ on if it weren't for automobiles :?:
......women and food. What a feast we could have.

Quite a few people there were testing it before me. I've run about 2 tanks with acetone in, and have noticed an improvement in mileage around town. I haven't hit the freeway yet with it though.
I'm also running 87 octane vs 92 octane in my Bonneville, it is supercharged.

I read one person'* post that said it would roast your O2 sensor and I would hate to slip up and get any on my paint. I'll pay extra for the good stuff.
