Trunk release button
I have a '93 Bonneville SE. The trunk release button does not operate. The fuse is good, but I get no voltage at the trunk solenoid when I press the button (with the shifter in PARK and the ignition on).
I suspect the button to be defective...can I pop the button out without having to remove the entire door panel?

Yeah, you can..
The button should be a straight through ground. I'd aim for the trunk release relay and test for power etc. Then jump the power as the relay should. That'll tell you if the soleniod is working and from there you can check the relay/switch etc.

I checked for power at the trunk release button...no power present (with ignition on and shifter in PARK). Apparently the trunk release relay is located inside behind the glove compartment.
How in the world do you gain access to this relay???
