TPMS Error Lamp

Actually, I was saying the opposite. A Chinese-designed American-branded Chinese-assembled American platform engineered by a GM subsidiary in Germany that is now owned by a French manufacturer would have less chance of being the same as anything else when compared to, say, an Enclave (Traverse/Acadia/Outlook) or Sierra (Silverado/Savannah/Express) or etc.
It would be nice, but I don't know of anyone who would be able to convince GM to do this, especially with the lawyers watching.
That'* probably the point, an annoying non-deleteable light will get you to . . .
- from the perspective of the safety folks: fix the problem and be safe
- from the perspective of the lawyers: fix the problem not sue GM for making it easy to turn off the warning
- from the perspective of the beancounters: buy the parts to fix the problem

that'* true- but in summer I would have to undo everything since the summer tires have TPMS sensors
At the end I guess it is a question about how difficult it is to modify the ECU'* programme - since there does not seem to be any kind of electronic build in switch
Similar to auto start/stop, which can be electronically turned off by reprogramming the ECU

Seems you have your mind made up. Not sure what you want from us. We cannot program your vehicle through this forum.

Another alternative: Go to a dealer and see if they will turn TPMS off and on as needed. That will probably be an hour labor each time, so ~$200.00+ per year.
. . . or get a set of TPMS sensors for the winter rims and be done with it.

No, I don't know if they can and/or will do this, hence the "see if":
If I were their lawyer, I wouldn't let them without a lot of paperwork.
