My dad had his Kia Optima V6 up to 144 on the airport runway before it cut out. That car was a little sluggish on the 0-60 (8 flat) but it had alot of top end.

i was just curious, you guys are all talking about going 120,130,118, but i know my car is limited to like 110. is there a easy way to get rid of the limiter or do SE'* only have a limiter?

only 120...that is as fast as the car will go. period.
however in this area 100+ is somewhat normal considering the 75mph speed limits. utah is worse.

Most non-supercharged cars are limited at 108. Most supercharged are limited at 128. It has nothing to do with engine, and everything to do with the tires shipped on the car from the factory.
Those of us who have been over 130 have aftermarket PCM'* that delete the top speed limit.
Fatty, your only option is DHP unless Jet has something for you. However, you'll hit your aerodynamic limit before 130 anyway. I'd have to calculate it, but I'd bet under 120 as your current limit.
For Series 1 L67 cars that can't achive the typical 128 limit, you have to back off and let it shift to the next gear at the top end. It won't shift at WOT.
