That doesn't sound half-bad!

As earlier stated, it DOES have issues. Other than the water leaks, it has a miss in the midrange. Also, the scan tool picked up a few odd things, mainly: "BOOST 100%", all the time, even with MAP unplugged, and the transmission switch is giving the wrong values in relation to where the selector is. All else, well....looked good in the scanner!

Oh yeah, that "plug" issue...the harness that goes from engine to the the computer was off-kilter a bit. Kind of a giveaway when there is no power to the injectors, but power at the fusebox for them

Yeah, except that my speeling weren't so guud. It'* White Phoenix (according to a certain member who'* named after repetitive harmonic vibrations and lives in an inhospitable dry hot desert region).

Ok, so I do not need to worry about the MAP....but what about the weird readings on the transmission position sensor? I *want* to say, physically in "park", switch tells scanner it is in "reverse"...in "drive" physically, scanner says it is in "park" or "neutral" (can't remember which). Now, does the position of the sensor change the injection maps and boost tables for the selected range? This could help explain why it smelled awfully rich out the back (though the O2 readings showed borderline rich/lean).
