I wish I could have taken the day off to be there, 'cause it looks like you guys had fun. Still a lot of details to button up and only two Wednesdays left 'till the meet...
You can make it!
Brad, once it'* running, do you have any plans to dyno tune it?

And maybe only 1 Wednesday left 'till the meet for me....I may be going to New York for a few days next week for some cabin trainer work that needs to be done, giving Don a well-deserved break

I don't know what'* in Orlando too well, but there is a Dyno Tune in Deland about 2 miles from where I work.
If you have a trans shop do your trans, make sure they rebuild with HD parts as much as is possible. There are a number of threads here that deal with that subject.

We got all of the things done yesterday that we planned... There are some other thngs that we need to take care of to get it all buttoned up... But I think the next time Brad is here we will have her running...
The One wensday we went and picked up the motor and brought it over here... The next wensday we got all of the goodies swapped over.... This wensday wer pulled the old block out and got the new engine installed into the car.... Once we got the PS pump and AC Compressor on we set the engine in place, wiggles, wiggles and wiggled and pop got the engine to hit the Converter pin, then twist , twist and twist and the engine set in the tranny pins.... LOL.... We are Close

Having borrowed an engine hoist from a friend and him throwing the engine leveler at me as well... I gotta say..it really helps if you don't do motors frequently.
I also turn the converter to closely match the flywheel converter bolt holes. It helps the guy putting them back in.
No pictures of the elusive sasquatch this time?

I'm not too worried about the TQ Converter holes.. Should be very easy to line up..
But to help us I ended up getting a Better impact gun... I got a Kobalt this time... I love it.. Put new gages on the Compressor and adjusted the turn off...
We'll get it all knocked out in a couple of weeks..
