Thinking of purchasing new 2002 SSEi
Hello and Happy '03!
I'm not a Bonnie owner now, but I'm getting a great deal on a new '02 SSEi. I found this user group and wanted to get some feedback on the car.
Thanks Again

Buy it! What else do you wanna know?
An 02 SSEi. You make me drool. 240hp, and 280 ft/lbs of the flattest torque curve you'll ever see. This engine is a descendant of the Buick 3.8 Grand National. And gadgets galore. Pontiacs flagship was named well.
This is also one of the safest cars to drive. Never a gaurantee, but we've seen some crashes that nobody should have walked away from, but did. Lots of protection.
Of course, we're a bit biased. If you want the other side of the picture, go to the Mustang site and ask! (they're a bit jealous.....we eat them for breakfast.)

If you have the opportunity to get a 2002 do it instead of getting a 2003. I say this because Pontiac is changing their marketing strategy for the 2003'*. Basically, the HUD are no longer "standard", but optional and the base and options increased in price a bit. The only other new option is XM radio.
Just for kicks, I went to the GM/Pontiac site and priced out a 2003 identical in every way to my 2002 and it would have listed at $965 more.
Take advantage or every end-of-year clearance sale, cash-back or low rate financing you can. If the economy is as bad as every news outlet is saying, you probably will find some very willing car salesmen waiting for you.

Hey, you tease. What color? It makes a HUGE speed difference. Green and Blue are the fastest. Red is the slowest.
(wait til you see the battle I just started! )
