I personaly would not buy a car from anyone on Ebay that did not have more then a 100 postive feedbacks and/or a address telephone number to contact them at.
I have bought a few things from ebay mainly DVD'* and novelty stuff and I sold some of the parts off my 1978 Honda CBR motorcyle on ebay a few years ago.
Had a good expereince overall.

(I know, we're wandering off-topic here...)
Sigh... Me neither, I'm embarrassed to say. Heck, _this_ posting of mine is the first one since...
*cough*
...well, however long it'* been, is too long. Between winter here northwest of Chicago, and general busy-ness at work, the Bonneville stuff has been suffering.
Heck, the Bonne itself is needing some attention right now, most notably the muffler, which blew out a week or two ago, but since I'm only using it for train-station duty at the moment, the noise of my arrival is drowned out by the sound of the train engine.
Other annoyances include a Low Oil warning (false alarm, probably the sensor), one foglight burned out, and a mystery *clunk* from the front left wheel that occurs precisely once after a startup, after the car has been sitting for a while.
When the weather improves, I'm gonna be all over this stuff...

Foglight'* fixed, exhaust is fixed (above), low-oil warning went away by itself (coincided with bonehead maneuver by Yrs Truly which ran the battery down one day, probably scrambled the DIC'* brain temporarily); moving on to the Mystery Clunk whenever time permits.
