**** if I sped up to cross the tracks around my house I would get airborne! I just go the speed limit over them(sometimes thats too fast). stupid railroad tracks blah!

I think it'* more important to _not_ be on the brakes when you go over the tracks. When the tire bounces momentarily the brake can grab it, but then the pavement snatches it again and starts it turning again, etc. I can feel a smoother ride over the tracks if I'm not riding the brakes at the time.
