Water must have been leaking a long time, when I took mine out for sunroof leak carpet was soaked also but floor had no rust.Its true though u could have water there and not know it, it takes a while to soak thru thick sound barrier and carpet.Takes forever for it to dry also.

this stuff came in.. i am impressed, read the can!
still cant believe i paid $40 for a can of paint that people wont even see
waiting to apply it until i get the other stuff from peter that is supposed to remove more of the rust before i apply it.. better safe then sorry!

OMG
OMG, thats unreal. Now I'm starting to freak out a little, my backseat floorboard was a pool for a while before I discovered the problem. Is there anyway to know you have this problem without ripping out the whole carpet?
