Steering wheel preference?

Steering wheel preference?
Hello everyone, I'm fairly new here - some of you may know me from my message posted in the Forced Induction forum. I was just browsing your fine forum here when I came across the thread about the Lotus steering wheel.
Well, I have a question... or a poll for you all.
I've been a Ford guy ever since I was 17 (21 now) and I bought my first Ford Vehical, an '86 Bronco. After that I owned a '93 Taurus SHO and now my Thunderbird SC.
Cars I've driven include a large varity of Fords, a few GM'* of various eras, MOPARS, Imports, one BMW Z3 for about 300ft.
However, I find that out of all the cars I've driven, I find Ford steering wheels the most comfortable and unobtrusive wheels to guide a car down the road with.
My girlfriends Bonne is a great car, but I can't get over the looks of the steering wheel and the feel of it. It just feels very unnatural and uncomfortable, plus for me it'* in a poor position. I tend to tilt the wheel up quite a bit, as I find it the most comfortable, but when I do this in her car, I can't see about a 1/4 of the tach and speedo.
So basically, my quesiton in this pointlessly long 3am post is to find out what your favorite type of steering wheel is? Whether it be Ford/Gm or whatever other make. Just curious how other people feel about their steering wheels.

i prefer the Pontiac from 2000 and up, however going from my 94 bonnie to my 99 GP, i do like the steering wheel on the 99 better cause the airbad isnt as big and things are easier to see, and the buttons are closer to the 10 and 2 position, which is where i tend to have my hands alot of the time, but as much as i like fords, if her bonnie has the radio buttons on the steering wheel, she is one up on that, that is a major thing i love about GM steering wheels!!

The '91 SSE'* wheel does tend to block out some of the smaller metering gauges like temp/oil pressure/etc... but it'* not too bad. I like the wheel on mom'* Nissan more. Thicker rim, smaller diameter - it'* just a bit more sporty.

I like the one on the Bonneville (also the same one as on my Firehawk). However, the design is not to feasible with the Bonneville because it blocks out 100% view of the temperature guage. You have to move your head over to the right to wholly see it.
On the Firehawk, it'* perfect!! Complements the car well.

A friend of mine has a 2003 Grand Am and the steering wheel seems pretty nice.
I actually HATE the buttons on the steering wheel, lol. I'm a very clumsy person, so when I drive I tend to accidentally rest my hands on the buttons, or push them as I'm turning or some such. I can't tlel you how many times I've accidentally hit the mute button and wondered why the radio went off.
Actually, in my Ford, I don't even need the buttons on the wheel (if I was capable of not screwing them-up!). The radio is actually in the perfect position where I can rest my hand on my shifter and poke the buttons with my fingers.
My girlfriend tends to love the buttons on the steering wheel, simply because she'* capable of not messing around with them when she'* driving. Her and her small hands, pfft!
