SSEi, SLE, Malibu Maxx
Well i got to drive a few differen't cars this weekend. I took two trips up Mount Pleasant, each one with someone elses car .
I drive a 1995 SSEi so it was intresting to drive some other cars.
So, here'* my little compairison for those who care to read...
2001 SLE
Like mentioned before, without the supercharger it was a little weaker in the low end.
felt a lot smaller inside, might be just styling.
i don't care for the center counsel design, too flat and plain for me.
and the seats wheren't as confertable as mine (both this car and mine have leather, w/o heat)
great milage though, 32 MPG isn't bad!
stearing is easier then my car, but also very sensitive.
seemed to hear a little more road noise then i do in my car...
stearing wheel stereo controlls worked! (this helped eliminate the road noise!!!)
2005 Malibu Maxx (i know, its not a bonneville...)
very hard leather seats (but heated)
very touchy stearing
engine is peppy right at takeoff, but after that it screams its guts out to get moving. (its the V6)
rougher ride
road noise.
well the best part of driving both cars was i didn't have to drive mine AT ALL this weekend. Thats the best way to save gas!
both cars where nice, and i would drive them again anytime, but i'd have to say i still prefer my 11 year old SSEi over either of those newer cars. sure was nice to have er back on the way into work this morning.
