spun bearing [when to cut losses]
i managed to rotate a bearing
after some searching it seems that a supercharged crank is not easy to come by? going to pull engine out and apart. if crank can't be cut do i send 57k mile car to salvage yard?
not looking to spend $1000-$1500 on engines with 150k miles on then [came up in salvage yard querys]...

crank seems to be only issue. bearings are available and affordable.
why did almost every post try and discourage a rebuild?

If you want to get a new motor, I have a 68k L67 from a 94 SSEi. There is also a 95 Riviera here in the junkyard, but unknown miles.
not sure if that'* what you are looking for, but might help.

If youve not been having any other major problems with the car then keep it and stick a little money into especially with the amount of miles youve got on it

I just installed a crank kit from Marshall (Rock Auto) and was very happy with it. Good quality. BTW $170 is an excellent price. If you do the work yourself you should be able to get it done for less than $500.
