I must say I'm starting to run out of ideas here. Solenoids checked out, and mechanically everything seems to check out. I may have to swap out valve bodies, I have 3 more here. Still open for suggestions on what to check.

Also, I've got a couple thoughts. You said you felt there was a chance a wire had broke on the pcm, and that you checked them all and they were good. What if one of the wires was not broken, but loose, grounding, dirty pin, etc. Maybe try testing again, wiggle wires, do another visual inspection, clean contacts. Thinking back to what was most recently changed, it would make sense.

I did check the wires real good, but I will have to check again. I'm getting confused on this. So far I can rule out a mechanical failure. nothing it broke. I feel it'* a pressure problem. Seems like the clutches are not locking in. Or the bands are just sliding. I still have the 2-1 manual servo to check, and then it'* open up the valve body. could be a stuck valve, I'm just not sure at this point. I may swap out valve bodies and solenoids, I'm just not sure right now.

By the way, what I took a picture of was nothing. There'* blood on the camera, blood on the Corvette, after I realized that was blood on my hand and not trans fluid I'm like now what, I'm jumping around looking for a clean rag, it was squirting out. now 6 hours later and if I take the band aid off it starts bleeding bad. My wife said I'm going in for stitches tomorrow if it hasn't stopped.
After enough PMs to shut down my mail box it'* looking like this may be a simple EPC solenoid. That'* pressure control. Steve said it'* a weak link in these transmissions and he replaces them every time he has them on the bench. When I tested it the ohms were a bit high. So I'm getting a new one, not using a old one. If I still have my finger I'll have to start getting things back together. All this work for a simple solenoid. Hmm.

It'* good preventative maintenance Dan! Better you beef it up now than wait till you blow something and risk really screwing up the trans. Hope the solenoid fixes the problem.

As much as I'm not liking doing this. In the end it'* for the best. I'm adding hardened parts. and changing the gears and torque converter. I'm learning a lot. And most important, it'* better then blowing it and being on the side of the road.
