There are plenty here in Columbus, I see many more SE and SLE models but quite a few of SSEi'* also. We are, however, the only people in our 200 house subdivision with Bonnevilles, let alone SSEis....

some guy owns a 2001 green ssei in my neighborhood. He lives on a deadend street too that I keep accidently turning on since its the right turn right before the right turn I should make and I rarely go down that way much. Every house down that damn street looks so god damn the same, dont blame me for getting lost, which i do alot . Saving up for that gps...

I think maybe the SSEi'* just lasted longer and kept their rersale so you see more of them from the ealier generations. I know i see a ton more SE and SLE 00+ models around here.

they changed it from bonneville ssei to bonneville gxp because they are creating the "gxp performance division" so there will be a grand prix gxp, grand am gxp, vibe gxp and bonneville gxp, kinda like AMG is to Benz, or "M series" to bmw, "* series" to audi, "SVT" to Ford, etc etc. at least hopefully there will be, there made and ready for production, to bad oldsmobile never got there performance division going, it was SOOOOO close.

I see way more SLE'* than SSEI'* too. if i wasn't concerned with power (IF is a huge word, but understandable for most people) id get a SLE over a SSEI, why pay more insurance, less gas, more expensive gas if you never plan to use the power, most people i see in the new bonneville'* are O L D, cadillac old. GXP line will hopefully drop that age to 30'* to 40'*, instead of 40'* to 60'* that i see.

BTW, ill be driving my step moms 93 ssei, till the aurora gets fixed , i think the transmission is F___KED :(

IMO, they need to drop the L36 and just put the L67 in all the new bonnies
Most everything around Ohio is either SLE or SSEi. You cant tell the them apart until you get up close. Pontiac screwed up in my mind on that. The SSEi trim (body side moulding, aluminum wheels, front end layout, etc) should not have be available on other styles.
I wish all the way up Pontiac would have made the SSE/SSEi'* "special" if you look at the 88-91 body stile, you can hardly tell that the SE & LE are the same car as the SSE. With all the ground effects, and gold packages and what not. At least then when you had an SSE, people knew you had a SSE, and there was no mistake about it! as the years when by, they all started looking alike. To the untrained eye, the only way to tell them apart in the 00+ years is by the fog lights. At least thats the only way my GF knows the difference!
